Masterclass in Advanced Imagery Rescripting
Aug 27 | 9:30-2:30 ONLINE Masterclass in Advanced Imagery Rescripting
We are pleased to invite you to a one-day masterclass designed to deepen clinical skill and confidence in Imagery Rescripting (ImRs) for experienced therapists.
ImRs is one of the most powerful experiential interventions in Schema Therapy and other trauma-informed modalities. While many clinicians are familiar with the foundations of imagery work, complex presentations, telehealth delivery, mode-based obstacles, and intensive formats often require a more nuanced and confident approach.
This workshop is specifically designed for experienced clinicians who already use imagery interventions and are seeking to refine and deepen their practice. The day will focus on advanced clinical decision-making, enhancing the therapeutic relationship within imagery work, and adapting ImRs to complex or challenging scenarios.
Participants will explore:
- How to scaffold imagery work online, including the use of transitional objects
- Conducting past–present–future rescripting and sequencing these effectively
- Selecting appropriate targets for “blocks” of rescripting and intensive formats
- Adapting imagery rescripting for nightmares and flashbacks
- Identifying and working through mode-based obstacles (including coping and critic modes)
- Facilitating powerful mode dialogues within imagery
- Practical strategies for working with clients who struggle to visualise
This training will be highly applied, clinically rich, and grounded in experiential learning, with a focus on increasing clinical precision, attunement, and confidence.
