Self-reflection for therapistsBurnout prevention is important for all therapists, but this workshop is unique in helping identify likely sources of stress that increase likelihood of compassion fatigue and burnout. This workshop provides an opportunity for therapists to reflect on how their schemas and modes may be playing out in the therapy room. With a mix of input, discussion and experiential work, therapists will be guided to understand unhelpful patterns and develop a stronger Healthy Adult Therapist self.
This workshop provides space for participants to share as much or as little of their experience as they choose, with care taken to manage any dual relationships or power dynamics. Prior discussion about the nature of the workplace is an important aspect of organising this workshop. This workshop can be run as a half or full day training.
