Masterclass in Advanced Imagery Rescripting

A$299.00

Aug 27 | 9:30-2:30 ONLINE Masterclass in Advanced Imagery Rescripting

We are pleased to invite you to a one-day masterclass designed to deepen clinical skill and confidence in Imagery Rescripting (ImRs) for experienced therapists.

ImRs is one of the most powerful experiential interventions in Schema Therapy and other trauma-informed modalities. While many clinicians are familiar with the foundations of imagery work, complex presentations, telehealth delivery, mode-based obstacles, and intensive formats often require a more nuanced and confident approach.

This workshop is specifically designed for experienced clinicians who already use imagery interventions and are seeking to refine and deepen their practice. The day will focus on advanced clinical decision-making, enhancing the therapeutic relationship within imagery work, and adapting ImRs to complex or challenging scenarios.

Participants will explore:

  • How to scaffold imagery work online, including the use of transitional objects
  • Conducting past–present–future rescripting and sequencing these effectively
  • Selecting appropriate targets for “blocks” of rescripting and intensive formats
  • Adapting imagery rescripting for nightmares and flashbacks
  • Identifying and working through mode-based obstacles (including coping and critic modes)
  • Facilitating powerful mode dialogues within imagery
  • Practical strategies for working with clients who struggle to visualise

This training will be highly applied, clinically rich, and grounded in experiential learning, with a focus on increasing clinical precision, attunement, and confidence.

First things first: how to simplify schema therapy formulation and use it as a springboard for treatment

A$189.00

RECORDED WEBINAR

ALL MATERIALS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD

Independent of treatment modality, research suggests that formulation improves client outcomes. In schema therapy, formulation guides the treatment and enhances the limited reparenting. However, it can feel confusing to know where to begin with schema therapy formulation. It can be overwhelming to integrate the client’s presenting issues, schema questionnaires, family history assessment, client memories, and mode maps. The resulting formulation can be unclear and may fail to guide the treatment.

Join us in exploring what works and what doesn’t work when integrating assessment and formulation into your schema therapy sessions. You’ll learn practical strategies to guide your treatment that you can start implementing immediately.

You’ll walk away with:

  • Creative and experiential techniques to assess schemas and modes
  • Practical ways to make the assessment feel therapeutic for the client
  • Clear strategies to share your formulation with your client so it enhances the therapeutic relationship
  • Simple ways to weave the formulation into each session
  • Effective methods to re-visit formulation when feeling stuck with a client

About your presenters:

Ruth Holt is a Clinical Psychologist and Advanced Certified Schema Therapist Supervisor/Trainer.

Tena Davies is a Clinical Psychologist and Advanced Certified Schema Therapist
